Today, we are very excited to announce that Nimble has raised $9 million in a Series A round of financing led by Imagen Capital Partners. Previous investors include Mark Cuban’s Radical Investments, Google Ventures, Indicator Ventures and a consortium of strategic angels including Jason Calacanis, Howard Lindzon and Don Dodge.

We will use this new capital to accelerate product innovation, strategic partnerships, and customer adoption. We’re taking this investment to scale Nimble because we think that today’s legacy CRMs are too complex and hard to use, and that you spend too much time maintaining data in your CRMs than letting your CRM platform work for you. The resulting low end-user adoption is a significant cause of failure for CRMs.

    First, congratulations on your successful raise. I’ve been wondering for a while if Nimble had peaked. Are you able to share some of the general features you are working on? I kind of have a love-hate relationship with Nimble. Certain things are quite nice and others are simply maddening.

    Would like to know where it’s heading to determine if it’s still the right thing for us.
