Nimble has built a global brand as the #1 rated simple, smart CRM for individuals and small groups of customers seeking a team relationship manager that unifies contacts, calendar appointments, email inboxes, and social connections into a single company-wide contact manager.
Nimble 5.0 delivers a set of powerful enhancements centered on the CRM basics that dramatically improve team relationship management across the organization, including an updated contact record, granular activity tracking, contact privacy, and integrations with Office 365, Power BI, and Azure.
What’s New in Nimble 5.0
Two-Way Sync with Hundreds of Business Apps
Nimble’s built-in, two-way contact synchronization with hundreds of business apps creates a company-wide team relationship manager that then works back inside wherever they work, in their email inbox, social and SaaS business applications, delivering contact and company insights within their favorite business apps and wherever teams prospect on the web.
Redesigned Contact Record
We know that the heart of Nimble is the contact record. This is why our newly redesigned contact record is complete with inline editing and granular custom activity tracking, making it easier to see, update, and search all your important relationship information at once.
Activities Listing Tab and Custom Activities Types
Teams will be able to organize, prioritize, and track activities (including calls, tasks, and events) easier than ever. The Listing tab is complete with a dynamic view of the screen, providing teams with more room to measure their tasks against their related opportunities. Additionally, custom activity types and inline editing will enable teams to log tasks on a more granular level in order to organize activities based on their individual business needs.
Email Tracking Everywhere You Work
Identify follow-up opportunities from anywhere within Nimble workflows by adding the ability to send tracked email templates from contact records, the Messages tab, the Today Page dashboard, while mobile, and within the Nimble Smart Contacts App.
Detailed Activity Reporting and Activity Automation
Integrations with Azure common data services and Microsoft Power BI helps Nimble 5.0 deliver detailed dashboards of CRM reports and visualization. Easily create visualizations, workflow automation, and reporting for mission-critical initiatives.

Additional updates include: Account/lead contact types with record owner*; the ability to associate contacts to multiple companies and related contacts*; new Today Page widgets including Pipeline Management and Email Tracking; an integration with OneDrive that will allow teams to link documents related to a contact or deal; and push notifications for optimized email tracking and meeting notifications.
Nimble Evolves into The Simple CRM for Office 365
As our customers have begun to widely adopt Microsoft Office 365, team sizes have grown and their needs have become more complex. We recognized the need to evolve Nimble into a scalable team-management solution built around the way people work.
We decided to integrate Nimble with the business applications and tools Microsoft users use every day: Office 365, Teams, Edge, Power BI, Dynamics 365, and mission-critical systems built using Azure. We also realized that if we ported Nimble to Azure, we could leverage the entire Azure platform including; Common Data Services, AI, embed PowerBI, PowerApps, and Flow; and integrate with Dynamics 365 apps more effectively.
“The most important business trip you will make in 2019 is selecting the right CRM. Relationship and engagement is the core of any successful company culture. Take the time to do a detailed discovery, confirm clarity with a documented plan that will engage your team, clients, and prospects. Then watch your organization transform.
