Our Nimble team has just returned from attending Inspire 2017, the Microsoft Partner conference formerly known as the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC). It was a tremendously productive conference, and we are beyond excited. Microsoft did an amazing job of introducing their One Commercial Partner initiative of Putting Partners First during the keynote presentations and related breakouts, roundtables, and exhibition hall presentations.
Highlights included the Microsoft Partner Networking Reception held at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, and the United States Partner Celebration held at the brand new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture. They were elegant forums for our Nimble team to network and lobby on behalf of our unique CRM solution for Office 365 with some of the top Microsoft Partners and Resellers worldwide.
Microsoft Partners are “Inspired” to Resell Nimble
Microsoft featured Nimble as an approved Office 365 ISV for Microsoft MSP/CSPs/VARs to start bundling and selling together. Microsoft resellers immediately saw the value that Nimble adds to Office 365 to help customers grow sales and profits. Microsoft provided us booth time to showcase and introduce Nimble to Microsoft partners and to form partnerships.
Nimble is fully committed to helping other Microsoft reseller partners to modernize their sales and marketing to become even more successful with our cloud CRM. It was great to meet many great Microsoft MSPs and discuss Nimble’s vision for how we can drive more Microsoft business through the Nimble Social Sales and Marketing CRM Application. Our vision was well received by both MSPs and Microsoft managers who were excited about future collaboration opportunities.

Nimble Launched a Microsoft Reseller Program
Nimble announced the launch of a global Nimble Solution Partner Program to address the growing market need for our simple, affordable CRM for Microsoft Office 365 and Google Gsuite users. The program provides resellers, distribution partners, consulting firms and systems integrators with the materials and support they need to deliver a leading small business social sales and marketing CRM solution or service to their customers.
Nimble also announced that has joined Nimble to lead Strategic Partner Development. Showing a strong commitment to a scaling a world class partner program Nimble has brought on board a CRM Channel industry veteran Kevin Turner to lead Strategic Partner Development. Before joining Nimble, Kevin Turner was one of the principal at Model Metrics, a Salesforce consulting company with over 1,000+ Salesforce deployments that Salesforce acquired for ~$100M. Prior to Model Metrics, Kevin Turner was a partner for a Top Ten GoldMine Reseller.
Nimble Launches New Free Add-in for Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook Desktop/Mobile
At Inspire, we also announced our new Nimble Contacts add-in for Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook desktop and iOS. It is both a freemium and paid add-in that delivers instant social business insights on people and companies. Based on the premise that it should be easier for people to connect authentically in today’s over-connected world, Nimble synchronizes individual emails, calendars and contacts into a shared team relationship manager enriched with rich social and business profiles for O365 and Outlook users everywhere they work.

The Keynotes Were Amazing And Featured A Cameo of Our Nimble CEO, Jon Ferrara
The keynotes by Satya Nadella (Microsoft’s CEO), and Ron Huddleston (Corporate Vice President One Commercial Partner Organization), were especially informative on the vision for Microsoft and its partner relationships going forward. We were also thrilled to be a featured sponsor and have our CEO Jon Ferrara featured in a brief introductory video with a quote during the keynote.

Microsoft Announced a New Program for ISVs
Microsoft announced a new program for ISV partners called ISV Cloud Embed which will make it even easier for them to purchase Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Microsoft Flow & Power BI as embeddable “building blocks” to modernize existing business applications, and build new ones.
Modernize your sales and marketing with social
Nimble CEO Jon Ferrara spoke about the power of personal branding and the ways it can help you achieve your passion, plan, and purpose in life to grow your business. He covered how to build self-sustaining brands and networks filled with prospects, customers and their influencers. Jon closed with two talks: “How to Nurture Business Relationships” and the “Secrets of Turning Your Contacts Into Gold”.
