The new Actuate iServer Express is designed for software development teams, IT, and OEM product managers that need high-end report server features in a single-server, single-project configuration. This server allows development teams to get started with Actuate server technology without committing to a full implementation of iServer Enterprise.
iServer Express provides BIRT and e.Spreadsheet reports generation and delivery to multiple users—securely and on a schedule—and paves the path for an easy and secure upgrade to the iServer Enterprise platform , growing server capacity as required by the growth of the business.

While smaller projects are usually funded based on project size, they always list the same big ticket requirements that larger projects do: the reporting solution has to be financially feasible but capable of delivering multiple reports quickly, reliably, and accurately. In addition, the need for a solution is often urgent, meaning that the solution also needs to be implemented at once—if at all possible, yesterday.
