This metadata layer is provided by Actuate Information Objects, which unify data access across the enterprise for the Actuate product line, creating logical business data models, centralized metric and KPI definitions and reusable query definitions for a reporting environment that’s more easily managed by IT while dramatically improving the productivity of every report developer and information user.
