Today we got the great news that Nimble has been named a finalist in two categories of the prestigious Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE Awards — Best Relationship Management Solution and Best Social Business Solution. The list recognizes applications, products, and services that deliver solutions for use by business, government, consumers, academic, and other organizations.
What’s particularly interesting — and one of the reasons that the news is such an honor — is that the CODiES are the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. The first-round review of all nominees includes industry executives and analysts, representatives of media outlets, bloggers, and investors. The judges are responsible for selecting finalists, then SIIA members vote on the finalists, and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
This year there are twelve new and updated categories, reflecting the continued growth and evolution of cloud computing, mobile, Big Data, and video. Winners will be announced on May 9.
